Meg Collins Stoop
I am a composer and have been teaching music privately for more than 25 years.
I was born and raised in New York and attended high school in Manhattan as well as Mannes College of Music Preparatory Division. I received my bachelor's degree in music from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, and my master's degree in music composition from CUNY Queens, Aaron Copland School of Music.
In the summer of 2017, at 50 years of age, I moved to Dublin to pursue my PhD in Music Composition at Trinity College Dublin.
Life begins anew.
